Atlanta Video Production's new studio announced

Forrester Media's recently completed merger with 4 Tay Video is leading us to a new name and a new home. We'll soon be doing business as Atlanta Video Production, a 4 Tay Video Company. Long ago, Mike Forrester secured the URL www.atlantavideoproduction.com and now is the time to use it! We've just launched a placeholder page for the new site and will build out the entire site in the coming weeks.

Atlanta Video Production will also be moving to a new home on north Peachtree Road in Atlanta. Renovations are underway to reconfigure office space and transform a portion of the building into a sound-proof studio. The 1600sf studio will included a dedicated 800sf green screen wall with floor cyc. The green screen area can be divided from the rest of the studio that will include set and interview areas. A make-up station, client area, kitchen, conference room, common areas, covered entrance and ample parking will compliment our new facility.

Our facility will have dedicated network connectivity allowing live webcasts to originate from the studio.

A portion of the building houses an existing tenant with the remainder available for lease to companies seeking a desirable address, convenient access to I-285 and MARTA as well access to other creative companies and our studio. We anticipate completion of the renovations in late June or early July with move-in to follow. In the interim, we continue to work at our 2250 N. Druid Hills Road office.

We are excited to offer our new facilities and capabilities to the Atlanta market. If we can be of assistance, please don't hesitate to call. We can be reached at 770-226-9250, or email us at solutions@forrestermedia.com.

Kicking off 2016 with some changes

I find it hard to believe that I've been behind the wheel of Forrester Media for almost twenty years. It's been an incredible time of change in technology - not only in the way we communicate, but how we communicate and interact with the technology. I'm looking forward to the next 20 years and can only guess how I'll be authoring blog posts by then!

Today, however, I'm incredibly pleased to announce that Forrester Media and Abracadabra Video are now part of 4 Tay Video, Inc. The merger of our three companies is a forward-thinking solution to take the best qualities of each company and bring them into one entity. That new company is Atlanta Video Production. In the coming months, we'll be launching a new website (our placeholder site is now live at www.atlantavideoproduction.com), merging our operations and looking at new growth opportunities.

One thing that isn't changing is my involvement. I'll continue managing the video production and webcasting operations for Atlanta Video Production. My business partner, Scott Taysom, will continue managing the audio/visual rental department and work alongside me on our productions.

We will be relocating Forrester Media to the Abracadabra Video office at 2250 N. Druid Hills Road, Atlanta, GA 30329 in the coming weeks. We are actively looking for a larger space for our combined companies that will allow us plenty of room to grow.

It's an exciting time to be in Atlanta and we're looking forward to a great 2016!

Happy Holidays!

The holiday season is one of the most anticipated here at Forrester Media. It's an opportunity to spend time with family and friends and reflect on the past year - and anticipate what the new year holds for us.

We're very fortunate to be able to come to work each day and do something we truly enjoy - creating solutions for our clients. Sometimes those solutions are in the form of a promotional business for their business, sometimes it's documenting an event or conference or even a webcast of a townhall meeting. It's an exciting time in the world of video and while we love the technology, we never forget that it's not the technology - but how you use it - that makes for solutions our clients can use and benefit from.

It's also been an exciting time internally. We have a major announcement to make in January, 2016 - one that will allow us to grow our business and our service offerings in the coming years. Our holiday card provides a hint of things to come!

From all of us at Forrester Media and 4 Tay Video, we wish you the best this holiday season and wish you a very happy New Year!

Falling for Autumn

The fall is traditionally one of the busiest times of the year for us. Summer vacations end and new budget years begin. Certainly the arrival of Autumn means lots of work and little time off, but we're ready.

We're ready with our webcasting services, camera crews and full-service video productions for business and industry. We're ready with experienced professionals, several that we've worked with for more than a decade! We stay current on the latest equipment, trends and news and incorporate them into our workflows when appropriate.

Most of all, we're ready to see old friends that call on us year after year and welcome new friends to our family of clientele. Without you, we certainly wouldn't be here and we wouldn't enjoy Autumn as much as we do.

The photo below was taken atop Brasstown Bald, the highest point in Georgia. Taken just a few days ago, Autumn hadn't announced her arrival just yet, but we're looking forward to seeing plenty of colorful leaves in the coming weeks.

We hope you are enjoying the arrival of Autumn! Call or email if we can be of service with your video production and webcasting needs.

Easing your pain - with video

For years I've told students, interns and associates a lesson I learned a long time ago; people will call you when they have a pain that needs to be treated.

In our case, that 'pain' is a problem that needs solving through the use of video. Maybe it's a training video to help reduce on-the-job injuries or improve efficiency in a call center. Perhaps it's a new product to introduce to a target audience. It could even be as simple as a webcast that delivers an important message to employees in multiple locations. No matter the pain, it's our job to make it go away.

It's a simple premise that can be applied across nearly any business. If you're hungry, you find a restaurant. If your car is dirty, it's a car wash that treats the pain and makes you feel better.

Sometimes it's a bit more complicated. The aspirin hasn't helped, so you call your doctor for a visit. They ask questions, do a check-up and prescribe some medication to help treat the pain.

It can be the same with a video production. You know you need a solution, but you're not sure of the best approach. That's when we become doctors of sorts. We'll ask questions, diagnose your problem and come up with a recommendation for treatment!

Not that we're doctors...far from it. It's just a good analogy of how we approach projects. Treat the pain by providing a video solution that addresses your needs.

Our experience and capabilities are some of the best in Atlanta. From small start-ups to Fortune 15 companies, we've worked with hundreds of businesses and created solutions that met their needs.

Feeling a pain? Give us a call.
